St Mary's Church

St Mary's Church in Shrewsbury is noted as the only complete medieval church in the town, originating from Saxon times with later 12th-century additions. The church is renowned for its world-famous 14th-century 'Jesse window', which is decorated with figures of Old Testament kings and prophets. Its spire, among the tallest in England, has been a prominent feature of Shrewsbury's skyline for over five centuries.
