Opened in 1985 in a converted school, South Street Arts Centre is a small-scale live arts venue managed by Reading Borough Council, featuring two performance spaces—the Main Theatre and the more intimate MacDevitts Studio. It hosts a range of companies including RedCape Theatre, Unfinished Business, and its own Youth Theatre.
