Snow King Mountain is Jackson's original ski hill, established in 1936 as the first ski area in Wyoming. Operating year-round as a summer and winter resort, it offers skiing, hiking, an alpine slide, a gondola, the Cowboy Coaster, a zipline, miniature golf, a maze, and the Snow King Observatory and Planetarium at the summit. The resort features modern lift infrastructure and is located on the southeast edge of Jackson.
