Slane Castle is a historic estate in the Boyne Valley, renowned for its dramatic parkland setting and grand architectural design by James Gandon, James Wyatt, and Francis Johnston. Its natural amphitheatre has hosted major open-air rock concerts since 1981, accommodating up to 80,000 attendees, and has also served as a recording location for U2. Beyond large-scale summer concerts, the castle provides spaces for smaller, intimate events within its historic interiors.
