Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre is a large outdoor venue developed as part of the AvidXchange Music Factory, which opened in 2009 and has hosted a wide range of major music artists since then. Originally named Uptown Amphitheatre, it has undergone several name changes due to different sponsorships. The venue was conceived by ARK Group with inspiration from New York City’s SoHo, and it initially attracted many performers who previously played at the Palladium at Carowinds.
