The Santa Barbara Bowl is a large outdoor amphitheatre set in the foothills of Santa Barbara, built in 1936 as a Works Progress Administration project and managed by a not-for-profit foundation since 1991. Open seasonally from April to October, it typically presents around 27 concerts each year.
