Salt & Tar is a multi-use outdoor event venue situated on Bootle's canal side in Merseyside, England. Launched in Spring 2024, it hosts a monthly programme of events ranging from street food and bars to live entertainment and cultural activities. The venue accommodates both a food and drink village and larger standing concerts. Notable performers have included Red Rum Club, Status Quo, and Tom Jones. In 2026, it will temporarily relocate its music festival to the Lock and Quay's event site to facilitate development of its home site.
