Royal & Derngate is a major arts complex in Northampton's Cultural Quarter, comprising the historic Grade II listed Royal Theatre, opened in 1884, and the multi-purpose Derngate Theatre, opened in 1983. The venue offers two main auditoria, with the Royal accommodating around 450 and the Derngate up to 1,500 attendees, and serves as a central hub for arts and entertainment in the region.
