Roadmender

About

Roadmender is a live music venue in Northampton, housed in a former school building and recognised as an iconic part of the city's cultural landscape. Known for its history as a leading music and arts centre from the 1980s to late 1990s, it has hosted notable artists including Radiohead, Metallica, Oasis, Travis, and the Manic Street Preachers. The venue underwent refurbishment around 1999/2000, which reduced its main hall capacity, and was later rebranded as New Roadmender following a change in ownership in 2005.
