Reading and Leeds Festivals are twin annual music events held simultaneously in Reading and Leeds, with Reading taking place near the centre of town and Leeds at Bramham Park, in the grounds of a historic house. Organised by Festival Republic, the Reading Festival is the UK’s longest-running popular music festival, dating back to 1961 when it began as the National Jazz Festival, and has since grown into a major three-day event alongside its counterpart in Leeds.
