PNC Music Pavilion, originally known as Blockbuster Pavilion, opened on 4 July 1991. It is situated near I-85 and I-485 in the University City neighbourhood of Charlotte. The venue has hosted renowned artists such as Paul McCartney, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, and Elton John.
