Parkteatret AS is located at Olaf Ryes plass 11 in the Grünerløkka district of Oslo, Norway. Established in 1907 as a cinema originally named 'Kristiania Bryggeri Grünerløkkens Kinematograf', it underwent a major structural transformation between 1918 and 1922, during which it adopted its current name and received a neoclassical facade designed by architect Erik Glosimodt. In November 2007, the venue was awarded the Olavsrosa seal of quality by the foundation Norsk Kulturarv.
