An Edwardian playhouse opened in 1912 and now Grade II listed, the Palace Theatre in Westcliff retains its original music hall character, with features such as a sweeping staircase, regency-style domes, and ornate proscenium arch. Run by Trafalgar Theatres, it presents touring plays, musicals, comedy, live music, family shows and pantomime, with additional smaller-scale performances in the adjoining Dixon Studio.
