The Blackpool Opera House, located at 81 Church Street in Blackpool, is considered one of the largest theatres in Europe, with a capacity of 2,800. The venue is notable for its proscenium arch, which is among the widest in the world, measuring 13,716mm wide and 9,140mm high. The current Opera House opened in 1939 and is the third theatre to occupy this site.
