The Olympiastadion Berlin is a large historic stadium designed by Werner March and opened in 1936 for the Summer Olympics; it features modernised facilities following renovations between 2000 and 2004 while retaining its original architecture. Home to Hertha BSC since 1963, the venue hosts major sporting and cultural events, including the annual DFB-Pokal final and the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final.
