O2 City hosts Royal Blood with Unpeople and The Xcerts, spanning alternative rock, blues rock and alternative metal.
O2 City Hall Newcastle, located on Northumberland Road in Newcastle upon Tyne, opened in 1928 as part of a redevelopment that included the City Pool. The venue has hosted major British orchestras as well as artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Little Richard. In 2022, it underwent a refurbishment that introduced a state-of-the-art retractable seating system and increased its capacity.
