O2 Academy2 Liverpool is located on Wall Street, Liverpool, and occupies a 19th-century warehouse that was converted into a music venue in 2000. Following refurbishment, the venue reopened in September 2003. It has hosted performances by a wide range of artists, including The Killers, Biffy Clyro, The Prodigy, Paul McCartney, Foals, Courteeners, The Wombats, Paloma Faith, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse.
