O2 Academy Bristol, situated on Frogmore Street in Bristol, opened in 2001 and launched with a sell-out performance by Ocean Colour Scene. The venue previously formed part of Mecca Leisure Group’s New Entertainments Centre and was once an ABC Cinema.
