O2 Academy Bournemouth, located on Christchurch Road in Boscombe, is a Grade II listed building that originally opened in 1895 as The Grand Theatre and Pavilion. The venue has hosted performances from notable artists including Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and Thin Lizzy during the 1970s. Following a major refurbishment, it was rebranded as O2 Academy Bournemouth in 2009.
