NX Newcastle is a music venue situated in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It was originally opened as the Carling Academy in the former Majestic Ballroom building in October 2005. The venue underwent a name change to the O2 Academy in 2008 for sponsorship reasons. Management of the venue was handled by Academy Music Group until early 2022, after which Electric Group took over operations.
