About
New Century is a live music, performance, and events venue in Manchester's NOMA district, originally built in 1963 and recently revitalised following a major transformation. The venue features a sprung dancefloor, wood-panelled walls, a distinctive disco ceiling, and up-to-date sound and lighting. Its ground floor serves as a social hub with food and drink options, while the basement houses the dBs Institute for music technology and games design education. Notable for its musical heritage, New Century hosted legendary acts such as Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and The Bee Gees in its early years.
