Metro Theatre hosts Fat Dog’s Australia 2026 date, rooted in alternative rock, dance-punk and indie rock.
The Metro Theatre is situated at 624 George Street in the heart of Sydney's central business district. Opened in 1994, the venue contains two performance areas: a main room and the Metro Social, a more intimate space. Its foyer was designed by Australian stage designer Brian Thomson and features a replica of the Art Deco chandelier from the former Regent Theatre. The Metro Theatre has hosted a variety of artists, including local acts such as You Am I and Eskimo Joe, as well as international performers like Pink and Robbie Williams.
