Markthalle is a venue located at Klosterwall 11 in Hamburg, Germany. Designed by architect Fritz Schumacher and built in 1913, it has hosted performances by artists such as Phish, B.B. King, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, U2, AC/DC, Dio, The Police, Alter Bridge, Thomas Mapfumo, and Run-DMC. Four live albums have been recorded at Markthalle, including works by Roger Chapman, Gotthard, Biohazard, and Phish.
