Mareel is a multi-purpose entertainment venue on Lerwick’s waterfront, featuring a main performance auditorium with flexible standing and seated arrangements, two cinema screens, a split-level café bar with performance areas, recording and multimedia production studios, and sprung-floor rehearsal spaces. Opened in 2012, it hosts music events, film screenings, and educational courses, and is sited on the historic Hay’s Dock quayside overlooking the North Sea.
