Manchester Roadhouse was a basement music club in the Northern Quarter known for its intimate 200-capacity setting and a strong focus on local artists, as well as hosting early performances by future major acts like Coldplay, Muse, and The White Stripes. Opening in 1993, it followed the tradition of Manchester’s historic dive bar clubs and played an influential role in the city’s music scene until closing in 2015.
