Lutherse Kerk in Groningen, dating from 1696, is a historic former hidden church featuring a richly decorated interior with elaborate wood carvings and elegant chandeliers. It houses two notable organs—a Van Oeckelen organ for romantic repertoire and a 2017 reconstruction of an Arp Schnitger organ for baroque music. The adjacent Lutherzaal, accessible via the courtyard, was built in 1925 in the Amsterdam School style.
