Village Underground is a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse located in Shoreditch, East London. It functions as a cultural venue, hosting concerts, club nights, exhibitions, theatre, live art, and other performances. The site is notable for having four recycled Jubilee line trains and shipping containers on its roof, which are used as creative workspaces for artists. Opened in 2006, Village Underground was established to provide affordable studios for creative individuals in London.
