Le Rex is located at 15 Avenue Honoré Serres in the centre of Toulouse, France. Originally a cinema in the 1970s, it later transformed into a concert hall, cabaret, nightclub, and bar-restaurant. Since being taken over by a new team in 2013, Le Rex has established itself as an important venue in the southern French music scene, regularly hosting events in genres such as rock, metal, hip-hop, reggae, jazz, and electronic music.
