About

King George's Hall is a large Grade II listed performance venue in Blackburn, featuring the main Concert Hall (seating up to 1800), the Windsor Suite, and Blakey's Cafe Bar. Opened in 1921 following a delayed construction due to the First World War, it underwent major renovation in 1994 and is operated by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. The venue has hosted well-known artists such as David Bowie and Queen and also houses the Blackburn register office.
