JUNKYARD is an alternative cultural centre in Dortmund’s northern district, established on the site of a former scrapyard and characterised by its industrial setting with repurposed shipping containers and striking street art, including Dortmund’s largest graffiti mural. With a capacity of 1,500, it offers a diverse programme of concerts, club events, readings, comedy, cabaret, and exhibitions, regularly featuring electronic, global, hip-hop, pop, punk, reggae, and contemporary music genres.
