Glasgow International Arena is a large venue in Dalmarnock, purpose-built for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and opened in 2012. It houses the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and features a 200-metre, 6-lane hydraulically operated athletics track, accommodating up to 7,000 spectators for a range of sporting and major events.
