Portsmouth Guildhall, situated in Guildhall Square, was originally completed in 1890 and designed by the architect William Hill. The building suffered significant damage during World War II and was subsequently rebuilt, reopening in 1959. It is currently managed by The Guildhall Trust, a registered charity based in Portsmouth.
