Its Main Auditorium seats up to 2,475 people and is the largest performance space within the venue. The hall serves as the Glasgow performance base for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and regularly hosts a wide range of events, including classical music, opera, ballet, musical theatre, and comedy, as well as the annual Celtic Connections Festival and the city's Aye Write Book Festival.
