The Gaiety Theatre, located on Carrick Street in Ayr, Scotland, is a Category B listed performing arts venue noted for its rococo interior features, distinctive atmosphere, and acoustics. Originally built in 1902, the theatre has experienced several reconstructions due to fires in 1904 and 1955. Its façade was remodelled in 1935, and an annex was added in 1995. After closing in 2009, the theatre reopened in 2012 under the management of the Ayr Gaiety Partnership, a charitable organisation formed by local community members.
