The venue has welcomed prominent occasions, such as a speech by Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev in 1992. Additionally, the Grateful Dead performed 14 concerts there between 1982 and 1989. Since 2012, the Stanford Concert Network has organised the annual Frost Music and Arts Festival at the site, featuring various artists.
