Frost Amphitheater is a large, tree-lined and grassy, tiered outdoor bowl set within 20 acres at Stanford University, originally opened in 1937. Designed by landscape architect Leslie Kiler, it has hosted a range of concerts and events—including multiple Grateful Dead shows—and underwent significant renovations before reopening in 2019 with modern facilities.
