The first direct arena is located on Arena Way, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Opened in July 2013, it has welcomed artists including Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and Ed Sheeran. The venue is noted for its distinctive 'super theatre' style design, where all seats face the stage and benefit from high-quality acoustics. In 2014, it was named Best New Venue in the World at the Stadium Business Awards.
