Felsenkeller is a former ballroom in Leipzig’s Lindenau district, housed in a Neo-Baroque building with a distinctive corner tower topped by a baroque dome. Founded in 1890, it has a history as a significant venue for the Central German labour movement and now hosts a varied cultural programme, including concerts, readings, dance events, theatre, and balls. The main hall accommodates up to 1,700 standing for concerts or over 800 seated, following extensive renovations since 2014.
