Edinburgh Playhouse presents Queen Of The Night’s Whitney Houston tribute on 14 November 2026.
The Edinburgh Playhouse, located at 18-22 Greenside Place, Edinburgh, opened on 12 August 1929 as a super-cinema inspired by the Roxy Cinema in New York. Designed by architect John Fairweather, it was converted into a live performance venue between 1978 and 1980. With 3,059 seats, it is the largest theatre in Scotland and the second largest in the United Kingdom. The building was awarded Category A listed status by Historic Scotland in 2008.
