Derby Cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral Church of All Saints, became a cathedral in 1927 with the establishment of the Diocese of Derby. The cathedral is noted for the Bakewell Screen, a painted and gilded wrought iron feature that spans the entire width of the building, separating the chancel from the nave. Its tower stands over 212 feet high and is a prominent feature of Derby's skyline.
