Club Gretchen occupies a historic listed building dating from 1854, once the stables of the Prussian 1st Guard Dragoon Regiment, in the heart of Kreuzberg. Spanning two floors and a small backyard, it is known for its vaulted ceilings, excellent acoustics, and a programme that embraces a wide range of genres, including drum 'n' bass, dubstep, jazz, funk, soul, Afrobeats, electronic, and avant-garde performances. Opened in 2011, it has a capacity of around 600 and has received multiple 'APPLAUS' awards for its ambitious and diverse programming.
