Club Academy is situated in the basement of the University of Manchester Students' Union building on Oxford Road. Previously known as 'The Cellar' and 'Cellar Disco', it adopted the name Club Academy in the early 2000s. The venue is one of four within the Manchester Academy complex, alongside Academy 1, Academy 2, and Academy 3.
