
Caldicot Castle is a medieval stone castle located in Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales. Built around 1100 by the Norman earls of Hereford, the castle has significant historic value. It became a Grade I listed building on 10 June 1953. In 1964, Chepstow Rural District Council purchased the castle from the Cobb family, and it was opened to the public the following year.
