About
Boomtown Festival is an annual theatre and music festival held over several days on the Matterley Estate in the South Downs National Park near Winchester, set amidst rolling hills on a working dairy farm. Founded in 2009, it features a diverse programme of live bands, electronic music DJs, speakers, and performers across a wide range of genres. The event is known for its immersive layout, with multiple themed districts forming a fictional city, alongside camping, workshop, and activist zones.
