del Amitri 45 Years of Modest Failure
Blakehay in Weston-super-Mare welcomes Del Amitri as the spring run continues along the south-west coast.
Located at 20 Wadham Street in Weston-super-Mare, the Blakehay Theatre was originally built in 1850 as Wadham Street Baptist Church, the town's first public building. Architect Hans Price adapted and enlarged the structure in 1862. The building sustained damage from incendiary bombs during World War II but was rebuilt inside its original Victorian shell. It ceased being a place of worship in 1985 and was converted into a theatre in 1986. The Blakehay Theatre, now owned by Weston-super-Mare Town Council, programmes local and regional theatre, music, and dance events.
Featuring del amitri.
