York Barbican is a large indoor entertainment venue in York, known for hosting a diverse programme of live music, comedy, sports, and business events. With both seated and standing configurations, it serves as the area's largest venue and regularly accommodates major touring acts as well as the UK Championship snooker tournament. Opened in 1991, it is situated near the city walls at the southern end of York city centre.
