Located on Paragon Street in York, the Barbican is the city's largest music and arts venue. It hosts over 200 events each year and attracts more than 130,000 visitors annually. The venue presents major touring acts such as The Specials, Suede, Manic Street Preachers, and Little Mix. Additionally, York Barbican is the current host of the UK Snooker Championship, having previously hosted the event from 2001 to 2006 and from 2011 onwards.
