del Amitri 45 Years of Modest Failure
Assembly Hall Melksham features Del Amitri on an early April stop of their 45 Years Of Modest Failure shows.
Assembly Hall in Melksham, Wiltshire, originally formed part of the Market Hall in 1847, where it was used to store and sell cheese during the local dairy industry's growth. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, it functioned as a drill hall for the volunteer brigade until its decommissioning by the Army in 1942. Following World War II, it was refurbished as the Assembly Hall, hosting entertainment events. In the 1970s, notable rock bands such as Status Quo, Mungo Jerry, and Thin Lizzy performed there. Today, it hosts various live events and is available for private functions.
