All Saints Church is the historic parish church of Kingston upon Thames, situated between the ancient Market Place and the town’s main shopping centre. As the only Grade I listed building in Kingston, it has significant heritage value. The current structure was begun in 1120 under the orders of Henry I, on a site where seven Saxon kings, including Æthelstan and Æthelred the Unready, were crowned in the 10th century. It is part of the Diocese of Southwark, serving local residents, businesses, schools, and Kingston University.
