170 Russell, situated on Russell Street near Melbourne's Chinatown, originally opened as the Lido Theatre in 1965. It has served as a prominent live music venue in Melbourne for over 50 years. The venue has hosted a varied roster of artists, such as Tina Turner, The Presets, Mac DeMarco, and Tash Sultana. 170 Russell is equipped with production facilities including a D&B J Series PA system and several large LED screens.
