Opened in 1928, O2 City Hall Newcastle is a concert hall with a multi-functional auditorium that can accommodate up to 2,600 people standing or 2,000 seated. It has hosted major British orchestras and renowned soloists, as well as famous 1960s rock 'package tours' and popular comedy acts. The venue also houses a notable Harrison and Harrison organ installed at its opening.
