Weird Nightmare bring their alternative rock and indie rock project to Heartbreakers in Southampton on 4 September 2026. Led by Alex Edkins of Metz, the show centres on the sharper, melodic side of his songwriting, with material from the self-titled album “Weird Nightmare” likely rubbing up against newer tracks from “Hoopla”. Expect hook-heavy guitars, taut rhythms and concise songs that lean into power-pop instincts without losing bite. Heartbreakers’ intimate room is well suited to the project’s raw but tuneful sound, giving fans a close-up take on Edkins’ other musical outlet away from his main band.
